Hi I'm Anne-marie

I absolutely love the hunt for furniture and spend much of my time sourcing pieces from places like Facebook Marketplace, auctions, and local flea markets. I genuinely can’t think of a better way to spend my time than discovering hidden gems and imagining what they could become. Every piece has a story, and I love giving it a new chapter through colour and design.

Speaking of colour, it’s my favourite part of the whole process. I love to chat colour and help people feel confident choosing something a little different for their homes. Whether it’s a soft neutral or a bold statement shade, the right colour can completely transform a piece—and a space.

If you’re looking for distinctive, ready-to-buy furniture without the wait of commissioning or the hassle of DIY, you’re in the right place. Once a piece is sold, it’s gone—no repeats, no mass production, just individual furniture with character and style.

New pieces of re-imagined furniture are added regularly, so be sure to check back often or follow along on social media to see the latest transformations and available furniture.

Choosing the Right Colour for Your Furniture

One of the questions I get asked most is how to choose the right colour for painted re-imagined furniture, and it’s honestly my favourite thing to talk about. The right shade can completely transform a piece and change the feel of a whole room.

When choosing a colour, think about the mood you want to create. Soft neutrals such as greys, greens, and warm whites work beautifully in calm, timeless interiors, while deeper tones like navy, charcoal, or rich earthy shades create a more dramatic and cosy feel. I often use colours from Farrow & Ball and Little Greene, as they offer depth and richness that work perfectly on vintage furniture.

It’s also important to consider where the piece will sit in your home. Lighter shades can help brighten smaller spaces, while darker colours can add contrast and make a statement in larger rooms. Don’t be afraid to choose something a little bolder—painted furniture is a wonderful way to introduce colour without overwhelming a space.

Every piece I create is chosen and painted with colour in mind, and I’m always happy to help if you’re unsure what might work in your home. Whether you love soft, subtle tones or something more eye-catching, there’s always a perfect colour waiting to bring your furniture to life.
