The Reel That Took Off!

Who knew a reel of me attempting to act would gain so much attention?! Honestly, when we filmed it, I thought it would be a bit of fun — nothing more. But here we are, and it’s got people talking, watching, and, most surprisingly, following!

My Instagram followers have started to grow, and I’m both surprised and delighted. Social media can be a funny old place… you spend hours polishing some content, and it gets a polite ripple of attention. Then you throw something out there that feels playful, imperfect, and you — and it takes on a life of its own.

I’ve also had the loveliest feedback lately on how we package our pieces, as well as some gorgeous photos of our furniture in its new homes. Honestly, seeing something we’ve worked on settle into someone’s space — knowing it’s loved and being enjoyed — is one of my favourite parts of the job.

And while we’re talking about things that make me smile, I can’t let this week go by without a personal shout-out to my eldest sister, Nicola. She turned 70 (seventy!) this week and looks absolutely fantastic. Sadly, one of my four sisters couldn’t make the celebrations, but we still had such a special time together. In the photo, she’s the sister in the middle — looking radiant as ever. Having lost both our parents, I’m even more grateful for my sisters — and Nicola is one of the most thoughtful people I know. She’s always checking in, remembering the little things, and making everyone feel seen. Happy 70th, Nicola!

So here’s to more reels, more beautiful furniture finding its perfect home, and more moments with the people who matter most.
