Content days are always a bit of a whirlwind — a mix of planning, creativity, and a healthy dose of chaos. Teaming up with Chloe and Tom from Arlo to promote Anne-Marie’s Madhouse meant stepping well outside my comfort zone… and surprisingly, I kind of loved it.
If you know me, you’ll know I’m far more comfortable running the show quietly in the background. But Chloe and Tom made it easy to lean in. They brought such energy, vision, and warmth to the day — it felt more like fun than work (well… mostly).
The goal? To capture the true spirit of Anne-Marie’s Madhouse. That means bold, real, full of personality — and definitely not polished or perfect. And to do that properly, I had to get in front of the camera myself. Which, for someone who’s more of a doer than a poser, is no small thing.
There were definitely moments where I felt awkward — trying to walk, stand in the right place, and remember my lines all at once. It sounds simple, but in the moment, it felt like my brain just left the building. Poor Chloe had to feed me my lines over and over (with endless patience, thankfully). But she and Tom have this way of keeping things light and relaxed. Somewhere between the laughter, the outfit changes, and the creative chaos, I stopped overthinking it. I showed up, as I am, for my business — and I’m really proud of that.
By the end of the shoot, I was exhausted, but also buzzing. We captured content that genuinely reflects what Anne-Marie’s Madhouse is all about — the chaos, the creativity, the joy. And even better? I walked away feeling seen, supported, and more confident in putting myself — not just the brand — out there.
Massive thanks to Chloe and Tom at Arlo. You’re not just amazing at what you do — you made me feel like I could actually enjoy being in front of the camera. That’s no small thing.
Can’t wait to share the content we created — and yes, I’d do it all again. (I’ll try and remember my lines this time)!
