Summer showed up swinging this week! Full heat, no breeze. You know it’s serious when even the plants start looking for shade. When the days get this warm, the sea becomes my favourite kind of escape. I still can’t quite believe I’m only a half-hour drive away. That short trip, a towel in the backseat, and then cool, salty water. It’s simple, but it never fails to lift everything. A quick swim, a moment to breathe, and I always come back feeling a little more human.
Speaking of full-time jobs, remember when I moved out of the house and into the shed? (Not in a sad “kicked out” way, more in a “this-is-my-creative-cave” way.) Honestly, it’s been the best move. Something about that small, quiet space, just me, the furniture and a coffee I’ll probably forget about until its stone cold, its been really good for my productivity. I’ve been working faster, smarter, and somehow enjoying it more than ever. Who knew a log shed could be such a creative powerhouse?
And here’s the cherry on top: June was an amazing month. Truly. Orders flying in, pieces flying out, and me doing a happy dance in the sawdust. I can’t thank you all enough! Every comment, every share, every order… it means more than you know. So here’s to more sea swims, more shed magic, and a whole lot more sawdust. Catch you in the next one.
